Compliance Training Related to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Guidelines

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Seal of the City of Oklahoma CityTraining for proper construction of ADA compliant wheelchair ramps, sidewalks and crosswalks.

This course is designed to provide you with insight into the demands of planning and building within the public right-of-way with a focus on achieving accessibility for persons with disabilities. The challenges Oklahoma City faces are not unique and with the proper information integrated into the planning and developing process, accessibility barriers can be removed.

COST & REGISTRATION
No fee is associated with the training; however on-line registration is requested and preferred.

You need to only attend one session. Each session will be limited to 75 participants. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided courtesy of the University of Oklahoma.

In the future all contractors, consulting engineers and architects wishing to participate in the City of Oklahoma City construction projects with ADA requirements will be required to have ADA training and certification.
